One of the best parts about living in the Napa Valley is the availability of all of the amazing home-grown and locally-grown produce. Therefore, one of our personal mandates when building the winery was that all of the grounds be planted with an edible landscape.

The main goal of our garden-to-table program is to make locally-grown produce more accessible to those of us who live and work here in the city. We also hope that our gardens will inspire more people to grow their own food by demonstrating what can be done in a small urban space.

To help with the development of the gardens and our organic gardening program, we have engaged Master Organic Gardener, Peter Jacobsen, of Jacobsen Orchards. He has been a farmer and orchardist in the Napa Valley for over 30 years, growing exclusively for restaurants. Peter provides produce to several top Michelin starred restaurants in the Valley. He also presents to the CIA students relative to chefs working with farmers. We are thrilled to have Peter's participation as we develop a world class culinary garden for our eatery and winery.

The garden also includes a glass greenhouse, which we have converted into a small tasting room. Here guests are taken through a guided tasting of our wines or they may simply relax and enjoy our wines by the glass or table bottle along with a small menu from the garden.
